Asheville 50+ Works at the WNC Career Expo

The Experienced Workforce Initiative of Western North Carolina had a virtual booth at the Asheville Chamber's of Commerce's WNC Career Expo.  With more than 600 registered attendees, the 'Asheville 50+ Works' booth had wonderful representation with:

According to April Brown, Director of Existing Industry & Workforce Development for the 

Asheville Area Chamber & Economic Development Coalition for Asheville-Buncombe County indicated WNC will likely have another event in mid-October 2020.

'Everybody learned that if you can't have a real expo, a virtual job fair can work to share job opportunities, information, and more' says Marc Czarnecki with the EWI Leadership Team.  'At a minimum, all of the EWI Team Members became better at technology skills that included chat and video conference presentations.
