There is an 'Employment Strategies with Veterans Workshop' on Wednesday June 8th, from 10 am to 12 pm at the NC Works Career Center, 48 Grove Street, Asheville NC.
This workshop was initially developed for Veterans, however, since we haven't had many respond, the workshop has also been made available for the Back to Work 50+ group.
Workshop Description
Would you like the "inside scoop" on what employers look for in your resume and why they ask what they ask in an interview? This workshop provides a unique opportunity to meet with a panel of employers for a candid conversation about the best and worst practices with resumes and interviews. Mock interviews are available to provide you with an additional practice opportunity. This workshop is offered "in-person" only and space is limited.
